Nonprofit Management Workshop sessions will take place April 23, June 18, August 27 and October 22 of 2015. These opportunities are meant to enhance nonprofit knowledge and skills. Nonprofit managers, employees, volunteers and board members are invited to attend.
The Nonprofit Management Workshop Series is provided by a partnership between Iowa State University Extension & Outreach and United Ways of Story and Marshall County.
Sessions include: Making the Most of your Marketing, The Dating Game: Fundamentals of Grant Development, Four Steps to Program Management and The Eight Essential Functions of the Board of Directors. Sessions will open with registration at 8:30 a.m., sessions start at 9 a.m. and run until noon. The April, August and October sessions will be held at the Marshall County Extension office, 2608 South 2nd Street in Marshalltown. The June session will be held at the Fisher Community Center, 709 South Center Street in Marshalltown.
All sessions are $25 and include refreshments. Registration must be received no less than one week prior to class. Payments may be mailed to: Marshall County Extension, 2608 South 2nd Street, Marshalltown, IA 50158.
