United Way of Story County is seeking a part-time database assistant to start August 24, and the candidate must be a work study student. Interested students should log in to AccessPlus for more information and to apply.
Position Summary:
Major areas of responsibility include entering financial and campaign records into database.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive and input campaign data into database with a high level of attention to detail
- Assist Finance Director with daily and campaign financial processes
- Make changes, updates and corrections as directed by Database Specialist
- Perform other duties as needed
Availability and Pay:
Part time, hourly, up to 20 hours per week. This position pays $8.50/hour.
Qualifications:
Prefer work toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar; or has experience or high level of interest in electronic databases. Ability to work quickly and maintain accuracy. Ability to make timely decisions and operate effectively under pressure. Strong organizational and technical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers. A high degree of confidentiality is required in this position.
